Now Enrolling! Fertility Empowerment School

Happy Summer Solstice!  How are you feeling these days?  I'm grateful for being able to put in several hours of work and still have plenty of time to spend outdoors; what a gift!

I wanted to tell you about the current state of my practice.  Some of you are aware that I am evolving into the Wellness Coaching space, and am working with clients differently than I used to.  I still have my Acupuncture practice and see patients clinically, but my passion lies in coaching!  What this means is that I now work with clients globally and am here to serve them while they are trying to reach their highest potential in their health and well being.  My clients report that coaching is the missing link that they did not realize they needed.  It's a system that is designed to serve and support, while allowing the client to work through their own resistance, coming out stronger and more empowered than ever before.

Speaking of Empowerment, I am excited to announce that my latest group program, 'The Fertility Empowerment School', is going to launch soon.  This program has been in my head 10+ years, and is the result of my observations while working with fertility patients in a clinical setting.  Many times, these patients came to me after several months or years of trying to conceive, and they were so burnt out by the process.  They were often stressed and in a constant reactive state, which made conceiving a baby complicated and unnecessarily difficult.  Stress symptoms often resulted such as poor sleep, anxiety, depression, and digestive imbalances, making it difficult for the body to respond in a homeostatic, (balanced) state.

My goal with this program is to help women become empowered in their journey to fertility.  Whether they conceive immediately or take longer, they will have the tools to practice resilience so that they will come out of the process with an awareness and a sense of empowerment that they never knew they had.

Some topics will include:

  • diet and how to recognize your body's own nuances to processing foods, and how to feed your body what it needs.
  • learning about the menstrual cycle and your body's own individual signs
  • how to handle a bad day or bad news with grace, so that it does not't stick with you for long
  • learning about how to elevate your body, mind, and spirit long term so that you are prepared in every way for any outcome, at any time.

If this sounds like a program for you or someone you know, please email me with the words, 'tell me more', and I will keep you posted.  It is my goal to serve with an open heart, an open mind, and empower my clients so that they can live the life of their dreams.

Please feel free to share this post with anyone you know, and keep an eye on my website for more information.  In the meantime, have a look at this video, which gave me a big boost when I really needed it.  As Gabby Bernstein states, 'when you feel you've surrendered, surrender some more'.

Beauty Through Rain

Took the dog out this morning on this very wet and rainy day in New England. I suited up from head to toe in rain gear, and unambitiously loaded the dog into the car. I was tired, and would have preferred to have another hour or two inside. But, 'the dog needs a walkin', and I kept moving. It turned out to be a beautiful walk, the air was clear, and I decided to explore an area that we usually don't go to. I was very happy to come upon these very brilliant green clusters of mosses, and I immediately thought of Ireland and how it is weather like this that makes Ireland so green. That is what is keeping me going these days, and what I remind my patients when they are down about not seeing the ☀️☀️☀️ It is these rainy days that make the beautiful days more beautiful, the blooms more fuller, and laughter more infectious.Dive in, my friends...💖

My Windows are Dirty!!

Healing is not always butterflies and rainbows. Like every path in life, it is a journey.

Good morning, (or good afternoon, or good evening)! Welcome to my blog.

I have been in this position many times. 'Today, I will start to blog'.

I go strong for many days, sometimes weeks, then, I fail.

But, what I've learned about failure is that you learn from failure. My pattern up until now is to get discouraged and give up, quickly. But, thanks to the many people out in the world who want to make a difference, (like Reshma Saujani in her awesome TED talk on bravery and girls), I've discovered that it is ok to scuff your knees every once in a while, or perhaps even break a limb. Because, it is through pain that we learn, that we grow, that we become brave. And it's these lessons that are meant for us as individuals to hear.

(Oh, goodness, if I'm going to start this blogging thing in my dining room, I NEED to clean these windows).

Sorry, I had to include my ADD insert; my windows are very dirty. On a sunny day like today, it's downright disgusting to look at them.

So, this new blog, even though it's on my acupuncture website, will consist of many topics, I think.

I thought about having separate blogs for different topics, but who am I kidding. The perfectionist in me thinks this to be a realistic feat, but no, it's a recipe for disaster.

So, bear with me as I figure this out. I will post about health and wellness, primarily, in all its' glory. But, if you follow me on social media, you may have noticed that my idea of health and wellness, (and I believe this is a universal thought, not just mine), has many facets. And selfishly, I will often post about stuff that makes me happy, because after all, happiness=health, right?

Ok, my 20 minute writing timer is almost finished. My first day of writing is complete. Setting a timer, by the way, is a great way to get things done. I've amazed myself with how quickly I can get the most-dreaded things done. (By the way, I'm a huge procrastinator, I will post about that later). So, at 2:35 minutes to go, I am going to wrap this blog post up, edit it, and post. Day 1 is a success.

Yours always in health,

Angela
